Walt Disney World announced a new nighttime dessert party that will send guests out in the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon for a special on-the-water viewing of Magic Kingdom’s nighttime fireworks show, “Wishes.”
Guests will board a board the double-stack ferryboat one hour before “Wishes” kicks off at the Magic Kingdom and will head out for a nighttime viewing of fireworks and special desserts including “The Grand” key lime tart; pineapple upside down cake from the chefs at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort; spiced flourless chocolate cake from the pastry kitchen at Disney’s Contemporary Resort; “Main Street” Mickey Balloon Tarts; mini “fireworks” cupcakes; Cinderella’s Sugar Slipper with Orange Financier; no-sugar-added Florida mango panna cotta; and a fruit and cheese spread. There will also be several alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available.
The boat will be broadcasting the “Wishes” audio through its on-board sound system so guests going will get the full “Wishes” experience.
The event will change for Halloween and Christmas and will feature the Happy HalloWishes and the Holiday Wishes—Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks show, not the regular “Wishes” show.
Cost is $99, $69 ages 3 to 9, including tax and gratuity. For reservations, visit DisneyWorld.com/DINE or call 407-WDW-DINE.
