**UPDATE** Busch Gardens Williamsburg announced via Twitter that their outdoor Howl-O-Scream mazes will also be closed on Saturday.  The park also closed today at 2 p.m. due to weather related issues from Hurricane Joaquin.

A few theme parks in the northeast are taking preparations in case Hurricane Joaquin decides to head their way.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg posted on their Twitter account that “Due to expected rainy conditions at BG, our outdoor mazes, Lumberhack, Cornered and Cut Throat Cove, will be closed Friday.”

Kings Dominion will also be closing completely in preparation.  They tweeted “Due to inclement weather we will be closed on Friday, October 2. At this time, the park will be open as scheduled on Saturday & Sunday.”

The good news is that the hurricane continues to shift east away from the United States with each update.

We will keep you posted if we hear of anymore park closures.
