Star Wars Launch Bay arrives at Disney’s Hollywood Studios kicking off Star Wars Mania

With just weeks to go until Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits movie theaters, Star Wars Launch Bay opened its doors officially today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios kicking off what is sure to be Star Wars mania for the foreseeable future.

Once inside Star Wars Launch Bay, guests can choose from two main exhibits, the Celebration Gallery and Celebration Hallway and experience props, artwork and even meet Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

For a sneak peek of The Force Awakens, there is a preview gallery featuring costumes, artwork, models and more from the upcoming film.

Be sure to stock up for the fight at the Launch Bay Cargo, which features merchandise fit for a Jedi.  The store features artwork, clothing, toys and more.

Star Wars Launch Bay isnt the only new Star Wars event at the park.  There is the newly updated Star Tours attraction featuring scenes and characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Young Padawans can face their fear at the new Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple.  This newly updated version of the original Jedi Training Academy features new characters, including an all-new villain,  the Seventh Sister Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels.

Guests can grab a seat and watch Star Wars: Path of The Jedi to get caught up on all of the Star Wars movies in one sitting, from episodes I-VII.

There is also several newly themed Star Wars food items as well.  These include Blue Milk Panna Cotta, Padawan Limeade, BB-8 Lemon and Butter Cream Cupcakes, Star Wars themed popcorn buckets and more.

Disney will be starting nightly Star Wars themed fireworks on December 18 called the “Symphony In The Stars: A Galactic Spectacular” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
