Altercation at Islands of Adventure leads to one in the hospital and one in jail
**UPDATE** A GoFundMe has been set up for the attack victim, Glenn Ferguson. Glenn has undergone emergency surgery after receiving several stab wounds to the neck and back of the head. He has a 50 percent chance of surviving the surgery.
The attacker, Fredrick Torres, 33, was arrested and is in the Orange County Jail with no bond.
The dispute happened after Torres found out he was going to be fired from his job and threatened to attack the companies “No. 1 artist,” according to the owner of the business. Both Torres and Ferguson were caricature artists at the park.

A fight broke out Friday morning at Islands of Adventure near the Toon Lagoon section between two contracted workers that resulted in one of them taken to the hospital in critical condition and the other one in jail on charges of first-degree murder with a weapon.
33-year-old Fredrick Torres was arrested and taken into custody and charged with attempted first degree murder with a weapon, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. His name has not yet been released.
No park guests or official Universal Orlando employees were injured or involved in the altercation.
The Toon Lagoon section of the park remained closed as officials investigated the incident.
