**UPDATE** Official statement from Disneyland Paris:

“During a routine security screening checkpoint at one of our hotels, weapons were discovered in a guest’s luggage, through our x-ray machine. The police were immediately notified and the individual was arrested. We continue to work closely with the authorities; and the safety and security of our guests and cast members is our utmost priority”

A man was arrested at a Disneyland Paris hotel after he was found armed with a pistol and ammunition on Thursday.

The man had two weapons concealed in a bag, including an automatic handgun.

The guns were located during a security checkpoint when he was walking into the New York Hotel located at Disneyland Paris.  The man was then arrested. A female acquaintance was also arrested, police sources said.  There were no injuries reported during their arrest.

The car of the couple was also located and sectioned off as a precaution.

The arrest comes just nearly three months after the terror attacks in Paris that killed 130 people on Nov. 13.  France remains under a State of Emergency.
