**UPDATE** We’ve added several high-resolution photos from SeaWorld of Mako being topped off at the bottom of the post.

Early Wednesday morning, Mako construction SeaWorld reached an important milestone as its lift hill was topped off, ushering in the tallest coaster in Orlando.

Once completed, Mako will reach a top speed of 74 MPH and run a total of 4,760 feet of steel track.

Mako will be the centerpiece of a new area focused on the education of sharks, where guests will be able to get up close and personal with the predators.

Mako is the parks latest roller coaster since Manta in 2009.
