HURRICANE

If you never got to ride the Dania Beach Hurricane at Boomers in Dania Beach, FL, it looks like you are out of luck, the roller coaster has been scheduled for demolition on March 16.

The coaster was built by the Coaster Works, Inc. company in 1996 and shut down for good in 2011 due to the coaster not being profitable.

The park once even tried to give away the roller coaster for free, which did not work out as you can tell.

Once demolished, the new land will be used for a new shopping center called Dania Pointe, which will be developed by Kimco Realty.

Boomers closed its doors back in January of 2015.

Did you ever ride the Hurricane?
