SeaWorld rescues baby sea lion pup from restaurant in San Diego

SeaWorld Orlando has a new way to reserve priority for select shows

A hungry 8-month old sea lion pup has been rescued from a restaurant in San Diego by SeaWorld and is now on their care as they try and nurse it back to health.

The female pup was severely dehydrated and hungry when found in a dining booth inside the restaurant

The pup was taken to SeaWorld’s Animal Rescue Center in San Diego and will be nourished back to health.

SeaWorld has rescued a total of 47 sea lion pups this year, with the total number being rescued on the west coast reaching the thousands.

El Nino is being blamed for a shortage in the animals food supply with the warmer waters it has created.
