**UPDATE** Since posting this, Universal has removed the three passes on the right hand side of the above image, just leaving the other two when you click on “Where do I find my ID and PIN?” just below the login screen.
Guess we will have to wait and see for an official announcement of some sort from Universal on whether we are getting new passes or not.
In a rather interesting discovery, a viewer of Thrillgeek sent us the above photo of what appear to be newly designed annual passes, in particular the ones on the far right hand side of this image.
The biggest change is the UOAP logo on the upper right hand corner of the pass. Could these be the long rumored plastic passes that pass holders have been dying for? It doesn’t seem to be as there is a grey area for you to sign your name onto, but yet again, credit cards have an area for you to sign. We will have to wait and see if we hear anything official from Universal officially.
You can view the image yourself on the official Universal Orlando Passholder page, click here and then click “Where do I find my ID and PIN?” just below the login screen.
Let’s just hope if these new passes happen, they don’t come with a price refresh! With all the new changes coming to Universal Orlando Resort, such as the Volcano Bay water park, we could possibly be seeing a refresh of annual passes in the near future.
