Cobra’s Curse at Busch Gardens Tampa reached another milestone today as the final piece of track was bolted into place on the family spinning roller coaster.

The final piece weighed in at 4,475 pounds and was bolted into place over the weekend.  Busch Gardens Tampa mentioned in a press release that the park will now begin testing various aspects of the attraction in preparation of its opening later this summer.

Cobra’s Curse will not only feature a giant 30,000 pound snake, the attraction’s queue will feature several real snakes, including Jameson’s mambas, Angolan pythons and rhinoceros and gaboon vipers.
