Shanghai Disneyland celebrates 100 days until opening with new photos 4

You are out of luck if you wanted to attend the grand opening of Shanghai Disneyland in June, tickets sold out in a matter of hours after going on sale yesterday according to Bloomberg.

But have no fear, you can still get tickets all the way up until Sep. 30, which are priced between 370 yuan ($56) and 499 yuan ($76).

Shanghai Disneyland will be Disney’s first park on the China mainland, and has cost the company $5.5 billion.  The resort spans 963 acres, which is roughly three times the size of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

The park is forecasted to bring in 50 million visitors a year with an estimated 24 billion yuan ($3.7 billion) to 40 billion yuan ($7.2 billion) in revenue.

Tickets are being tied to guest ID’s to deter scalping.
