Disney’s Animal Kingdom to host “Jungle Book” nighttime show


With all of the delays that have been facing the new “Rivers of Light” show coming to Animal Kingdom, there have been hints about a temporary replacement until all of the kinks are worked out.

Disney just announced that a new show based on the newly released “Jungle Book” film will begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Memorial Day, called “Jungle Book: Alive with Magic.”

The show will take place on the Discovery River at the park and will music and special effects based upon the live-action remake of the film, all with an Indian influence, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Other nighttime activities, including The Tree of Life Awakens, Kilimanjaro Safaris After Dark, Harambe Wildlife Parti, Discovery Island Carnivale, and the latest dining addition to Animal Kingdom, Tiffins, will all continue as normal and kick off on Memorial Day Weekend.
