Busch Gardens Tampa to host Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends in May

Busch Gardens announced a fun event today for the little tikes that don’t quite make that 54 inch height requirement for Kumba.

The park will be hosting Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends.  The event will feature animal encounters, parades, dance parties and even a few special guests and will take place May 14, 15, 21, and 22 from 2 to 5 p. m at the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area of the park.

Special appearances by characters such as Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie will also be part of the event.

Each weekend will have a different theme. The first weekend will be Cookie Monster-themed where guests will be able to enjoy cookies with everyones favorite cookie eating machine, and the second week will be Rubber Duckie-themed and will include a scavenger hunt for Ernie’s Rubber Duckies throughout the Safari of Fun

Character parades will take place at the top of every hour during the event. Plus, guests can expect kid-friendly music along with the chance to meet with Busch Gardens’ animal ambassadors.
