Disney to stop printing Disney Dollars this week

How far back can you remember when you had your first Disney Dollar?  The popular Disney money that featured a variety of Disney characters is coming to an end as the company announced today that they are halting production of the Disney currency.

Disney will continue to accept the Disney Dollar at parks and unless you have an abundance of them, it may be a good idea to hold onto them for nostalgia sake.

Disney Dollars were first introduced back in 1987 and can only be used at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort and Disney Store.

Do you have any Disney Dollars laying around?
