Food & Wine Fesival kicks off tomorrow at Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Food & Wine Festival Opens May 23

The Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival offers guests the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes and wines not normally served at the park. Enjoy authentic tastes from around the world at 14 themed kiosks while strolling through the world’s most beautiful theme park.

Throughout the event, food artisans will craft fantastical creations with delicious food products, and every Friday night live bands will be featured in the park’s Oktoberfest village. To add to the festivities, guests can add a little extra ambiance to their tasty adventure by enjoying a Wine on the Rhine river cruise.It’s time again for park guests to unleash their inner foodies when the festival opens May 27, delivering delicious dining each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as Memorial Day, through June 26.

New for 2016:

  • Virginia – Featuring She-Crab Soup, Pork Rinds with Virginia Dips, Smithfield Ham Tasting, Bacon & Cheddar Hushpuppies and Pecan, Bacon & Chocolate Bars
  • Hawaii – Featuring Root Vegetable Chips with Maui Onion Dip, Spam Sliders, Huli Huli Chicken, Tuna Poke and Haupia Tart
  • Argentinian Wine Tasting

Guests can mix and match 10 entrée or dessert dishes from any of the Food & Wine Festival kiosks for one delicious price with the Food & Wine Festival Food Sampler ($35).  Or, upgrade to the Food & Wine Festival Deluxe Food Sampler and try 15 Food & Wine Festival entrées or dessert items for $50.

Guests can also look into the Wine Tasting Trio and get any three of the park’s five wine-tasting experiences for $29.95, approximately a $15 savings.
