‘The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic’ Debuts later this month at Animal Kingdom

The temporary filler show for “Rivers of Light,” which will be called ‘The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic’ will make its debut on May 28 according to the Disney Parks Blog.

The show will feature “live music and performance, dazzling special effects and production numbers inspired by Indian cultural traditions.”  The show will keep the night alive at Animal Kingdom with a performance along the shores of the Discovery River with a show featuring dozens of colorful performers.

The massive water curtains will feature scenes from the movie “The Jungle Book” throughout the show and the show will also feature Indian-inspired versions of the movie’s popular songs “Trust in Me,” “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan’na Be Like You.”

This, of course, being the temporary replacement until “Rivers of Light” is ready to go at the park, which was announced that it was delayed back in early April.
