Listen up if you’re planning on purchasing your ticket at the gates of Universal Orlando’s theme parks. The resort will be switching to a flex ticketing system and increasing ticket prices at their two parks during peak times.
If you come during a peak time of the year and purchase a one-day one-park ticket at the gate instead of online, it will cost you $119, with a child’s ticket being $114.
Universal did not announce when exactly these “peak” tickets will be sold at the gate, but one can assume and easily figure out when their busiest days are, summer, holidays, etc.
Multi-day tickets and tickets purchased in advance will not be affected by this increase in price.
Universal Studios Hollywood made this switch back in March just days before opening their version of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
