SeaWorld Orlando opened up the Mako construction site today to the media allowing for a never-before-seen preview of the hypercoaster coming to SeaWorld Orlando.  Stay tuned after the break for videos and photos!

The park also gave some new details on what guests can anticipate to experience while they are waiting in line, including the unique experience guests will encounter while boarding the trains in the station, including an original score which can be heard while riding the roller coaster, and it will also follows guests as they enter the loading bay and emerge from the station aboard Mako. Part of this soundtrack can be heard on our video below.  Also be sure to check out the video of Brian Morrow talking about the Mako station and the cool special effects it will involve.

The roller coaster is not the only part of this new addition to SeaWorld, the Mako roller coaster will introduce an all-new shark realm called Shark Wreck Reef, where guests can learn about sharks and how they can help protect this amazing species of animal.

We were then taken for a walk alongside Mako’s track and shown some of the areas that will produce the most airtime, because Mako was designed with that in mind, lots of airtime!

Mako at SeaWorld Orlando is scheduled for its grand opening on June 10 at SeaWorld Orlando!
