Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando Resort welcomes first guests
What a week it has been for Universal Orlando Resort. Yesterday, the resort officially opened Skull Island: Reign of Kong, the massive new attraction at Islands of Adventure.
Today, the park welcomed the first guests to its newest resort, Sapphire Falls. The resorts fifth on-site hotel features a Caribbean-inspired theme with scenic rivers and waterfalls throughout the resort.
The park welcomed its first guests at Sapphire Falls with a special, Caribbean-themed arrival that featured Cheering team members, a steel drum band, stilt walkers and a colorful burst of streamers inside the hotel’s stunning new lobby. The Fajardo family from Hollywood, Florida were awarded a special VIP vacation for being Sapphire Falls first guests to check into the resort.
