Six Flags Dubai theme park breaks ground on new $707 million park
Dubai Parks and Resorts announced over the weekend that they have officially tarted construction work on the first Six Flags theme park in the Middle East, with the park set to open in late 2019.
The park will consist of 27 rides and attractions across six themed zones, which sound awfully familiar over here in the U.S., including Thrillseeker Plaza, Magic Mountain, Fiesta Texas, Great Escape, Great Adventure and Great America.
According to Six Flags, there will be three record-breaking rides, six roller coasters and a water raft ride.
The park will span over 2 million square feet and will have 1.5 million square feet set aside for future expansion.
