Disneyland announced today that they will open up the new Eastern Gateway in 2018, a new parking structure and pedestrian bridge for the resort.

This new expansion will feature a 6,800 space parking garage for the theme park resort and will also feature a pedestrian bridge, allowing access to the eastern resort area.  The bride will connect the parking structure and eastern transportation facility with the main entrance plaza.  The parking structure will also be home for buses, taxis, bicycles and various shuttles that work around the Disneyland Resort area.

This entire project is scheduled to be completed by 2018.
