The official Star Wars website (starwars.com) posted an article on their website debunking the recent rumors that Carrie Fisher will be CG’ed into future Star Wars movies following her sudden death in 2016.

The statement reads “We want to assure our fans that Lucasfilm has no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher’s performance as Princess or General Leia Organa.”
