Starting ThrillGeek 4 years ago I had no idea that the site would get to where it is, and that I would meet the people whom I have along this journey.  Ever since moving down to Florida over 20 years ago, theme parks have been my passion, and ThrillGeek was started to share that passion with all of you.  I cannot thank our supporters enough over these last four years, and I hope you will continue to support ThrillGeek in the future.

I have been offered the position of Content Strategist for Orlando Informer, the world’s largest and most trusted Universal Orlando vacation planning resource.  This decision was based upon the fact that ThrillGeek has become a lot for a father of three to work on and have a 9-5 job.  This will allow me to continue my joy of theme parks and share my theme park knowledge with all of you.  It will also allow me to pursue a career in the area as well, which has been a dream of mine for many years.

The future of ThrillGeek is up in the air as of right now and the site will go into a sort of “hibernation” and will remain up for those who enjoyed our content. ThrillGeek’s Twitter handle will be switched over to my personal Twitter handle so I can continue to chat with all of the awesome people I have met over the years.  Barry, who a lot of you have seen on our Twitter and Facebook pages, will continue to post content on the ThrillGeek Facebook page and I am in talks with him to continue other aspects of the site.  Be sure to continue to follow the ThrillGeek Facebook page, which can be found here.

Again, this is not the end of my journey, just a transition.  Thank you for all of your support over these last 4 years and I hope to continue to see you out there on the midways.

Thank you,

Clint
