After months of watching Cedar Point tear apart and begin construction on Mean Streak, the park has officially announced that they are partnering with Rocky Mountain Construction to unveil Steel Vengeance for the 2018 season! Goodbye Mean Streak!

Stats for Steel Vengeance:

  • 200 ft drop
  • 74 mph
  • 5740 ft long
  • 4 Inversions
  • 27.2 seconds of air
  • 90 degree first drop

Mean Streak was closed in September of last year to begin construction on Steel Vengeance.

“This is another roller coaster that only Cedar Point could build – tallest, fastest and longest of its kind with four inversions and the exciting movements the hybrid design can achieve,” said Jason McClure, vice president and general manager of Cedar Point. “There are so many unexpected moments on Steel Vengeance, it’s just plain twisted. It’ll be an extremely wild experience for our guests.”
