Disneyland has reached an important milestone in the construction of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, aka Star Wars Land.

The park announced that it has installed the highest point of the new massive expansion at Disneyland, which is 130 feet.

The massive piece of steel that was raised into place will represent the giant rock structures that will surround Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which once completed will include approximately 10,000 tons of structural steel and approximately 200,000 square feet of hand-carved rockwork.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open in 2019 at BOTH Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
