Legoland California will be adding two new attractions and expanding their hotel offerings next year, The two new attractions coming in 2018 are a submarine attraction called Lego City Deep Sea Adventure, and the other is a 3D/4D movie called “LEGO Ninjago, Master of the 4th Dimension.”

Lego Deep Sea Adventure will feature several 12-person submarines and will feature a 4-minute journey through a 300,000-gallon aquarium filled with sharks, stingrays and more.

“I’m extremely excited for our guests to experience LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride,” said Ronchetti. “For the first time in the United States, we are bringing our guests onboard a real submarine where they’ll go underwater to discover a truly amazing world filled with more than 2,000 different real sea animals, including several species of stingrays and a variety of exotic sharks.”

The park also announced that it will be expanding its hotel presence with the construction of the Legoland Castle Hotel, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018. LEGOLAND Castle Hotel will feature three room themes: Knights and Dragons, Magic Wizard and Royal Princess.
