Shanghai Disneyland will be getting their own version of Maxpass, the digital Fastpass system that came to Disneyland back in July.

This new system coming to Shanghai Disneyland will allow guests to reserve their Fastpass options via their smartphone on the Shanghai Disneyland app.

The new service will be at no additional cost to guests and provide a much more convenient way for guests to enjoy reserving time slots for their favorite attractions at the park.

After entering the theme park, guests can associate their activated ticket with the app, and then follow the instructions to view, select and reserve a digital Disney Fastpass, as well as check the designated return time. Once at the Disney Fastpass entrance of their selected attraction, guests can simply present the QR code on their device or park ticket for scanning. After the validation of the Fastpass as well as the photo identification associated with guests’ park ticket, guests will then be able to enjoy the faster access to their favorite attractions.

Prior to this new service, guests had to go to Guest Services to get their Fastpass tickets.
