Tokyo Disneyland looking to expand with possible third theme park

Tokyo Disneyland has announced that they will be investing nearly $2.7 billion to upgrade and expand their resort. What do these new additions and improvements include? Everything from a ride based on Frozen to an all-new theme park based on Japanese culture are in the works.

Another part of the improvements being proposed include a multilevel parking garage that would hold 4,000 vehicles.

The new theme park could start construction by 2025, with the other enhancements coming between now and then. With the 2020 Summer Olympics being hosted in Tokyo, surely some of these improvements and enhancements will be completed by then.

This would be the resorts biggest improvements since adding DisneySea in 2001.
