The Walking Dead roller coaster is becoming a reality

The Walking Dead is coming to Thorpe Park in an all-new attracion

We’ve seen AMC’s The Walking Dead at Halloween Horror Nights, we’ve seen pop-up attractions all around the country we’ve even seen a permanent attraction built at Universal Studios Hollywood. And now we are getting a theme park ride themed after The Walking Dead, thanks to Thorpe Park in London.

The ride is another part of the park’s Year of the Walking Dead, which includes special ‘Apocalypse’ weekends. And while not a brand-new roller coaster, rather a re-theme of their old ‘X’ attraction, the new attraction will surely draw in fans of the popular AMC show.

According to Thorpe Park, the new attraction will have several interactive elements, and even the queue will be scary. We’re guessing Walkers in the queue line? The attraction will even feature a replica of the famous watchtower from season 3 of The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead: The Ride opens on March 23, when the park opens for the season.
