Disneyland After Dark going to the Dark Side with Star Wars Nite

**UPDATE** Due to unprecedented demand for the Disneyland After Dark – Star Wars Nite event at Disneyland, Disneyland announced today that they have added a second celebration of Star Wars on May 9.

Disneyland announced that the next version of Disneyland After Dark will feature Star Wars in a variety of festivities and attractions for guests to enjoy.

Guests will see the return of Hyperspace Mountain, the Star Wars takeover of Space Mountain, which will be returning for a limited time. And of course, all of your favorite Disneyland attractions will be open, including  Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, “it’s a small world,” Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Matterhorn Bobsleds, and Jungle Cruise. Unfortunately Toontown, Critter Country, and Pirates of the Caribbean will not be open.

Disneyland will also be holding a Galactic Dance Party for guests to enjoy and have the opportunity to meet a variety of Star Wars characters, including Rey!

Disney is also encouraging guests to wear their favorite Star Wars attire, as there will be unlimited PhotoPass downloads for guests to enjoy!

Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase “Disneyland After Dark” merch and limited edition “May the 4th” products before anyone else at the Star Wars Nite event.

As far as food, there will be a variety of Star Wars inspired eats available for purchase.

Tickets will be available on March 27 for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders and March 29 for the general public. Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite kicks off May 3 at Disneyland, just in time for May the Fourth!
