Disney releases new concept artwork for Hong Kong Disneyland enhancements

"Frozen" is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland in a big way

Disney recently announced massive changes coming to Hong Kong Disneyland, including the addition of a new “Frozen” themed land and even a massive update to their castle.

Disney shared some new concept artwork today showing off these new changes, starting with the “Frozen” themed land coming to the park. The biggest change that we now notice since the first piece of concept artwork was released is the addition of a “Frozen” roller coaster, located on the right-hand side of the concept artwork, which was not featured in the original concept artwork (top). There are also some changes to the village on the left-hand side of the concept artwork, most likely Arendelle.

Perhaps one of the biggest changes coming to the park other than the new “Frozen” themed land is the park’s castle. Sleeping Beauty Castle at Hong Kong Disneyland will undergo a massive makeover from head to toe. Some of the enhancements include updates for new daytime and nighttime spectaculars.

All of these new enhancements and additions are scheduled to be completed by 2023.
