Gatekeeper opens up at Cedar Point over the weekend

Cedar Point is officially open  to the public.  The park opened for its 2013 season officially on Saturday.  With the park opening came a new addition, Gatekeeper.  The ride has opened to the public and has been a smash hit with roller coaster fans from around the world.  Gatekeeper took place of the former Disaster Transport and cost the park $30 million to build.  The ride features two gigantic keyholes that tower over the parks entrance as you walk through the gates.

A local news station up in Ohio got has a great segment of the ride including video, check it out here.
