Star Wars attractions for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World all but announced

Disney begins asking guests about a Star Wars park

Everyone is wondering when Disney will begin announcing theme park plans for Star Wars.  Well Bob Iger has all but officially announced it during an interview with Bloomberg.  Iger mentions that Star Wars themed lands are in the works for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and outside of the U.S. as well.

“We do have Star Wars in others theme parks, in Paris and in Tokyo, we haven’t made any specific announcements about what will be in Shanghaî or what we’re heading to Hong Kong after we build an Iron Man attraction but i think it’s probably likely that Star Wars will be in more than just our two domestic parks.”

Disneyland will most likely be the first candidate for Star Wars theme park attractions, followed closely by Walt Disney World, but we will have to wait for the official word from Disney and see what they have planned for the parks.
