Celebrity Chef Norman Van Aken Adds Inspiration to Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival
The first ever Food & Wine Festival is almost ready to kick off at Busch Gardens Tampa. But where did Busch Gardens get all of the inspiration for all of this delicious food? That is where Celebrity Chef Norman Van Aken comes in.
Norman is known as the “Father of New World Cuisine,” and has won several culinary awards, including a James Beard Award and was honored as one of the “Founders of the New America Cuisine” at Madrid Fusion.
He is also a well-known food author publishing six books and was nominated as a finalist for the James Beard Foundation’s “Best Restaurant in America,” and Chef Van Aken is the only Floridian inducted into the James Beard list of “Who’s Who in American Food and Beverage.”
Guests will be able to see Chef Norman Van Aken the opening weekend of the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival, which is scheduled for March 7-8. He is also inviting guests to participate in his book singing on March 7. Be sure to check buschgardens.com for the latest information.
The Festival is included with any Pass, Fun Card or daily admission. Food and beverage is not included with park admission and is available for an extra fee. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages.
