New details released about the Star Wars Day at Sea cruises aboard the Disney Fantasy


Disney announced last week that they are bringing Star Wars to the high seas with Star Wars Day at Sea cruises aboard the Disney Fantasy.

Disney just released new details as to what guests can expect during one of the Star Wars Day at Sea cruises.

There will be meet and greets with your favorite Star Wars characters including Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers and more.

Disney will be taking its popular Jedi Training Academy found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and will be bringing it to the Disney Fantasy.

Guests can test their Star Wars knowledge in a Star Wars trivia games that will cover both the Star Wars movies and TV shows.

There will even be activities for the young ones, including arts and crafts and games within the Oceaneer Lab and Oceaneer Club, all with a Star Wars twist of course.

At night when the clubs come alive, adults will have the opportunity to experience what it feels like to be inside the Mos Eisley cantina scene in A New Hope while they enjoy Star Wars themed cocktails.

Guests will also be able to experience the original six Star Wars films and the animated Star Wars: Rebels series while aboard the Disney Fantasy.  The cruises will also feature insiders and celebrities from the Star Wars universe who will share their knowledge about the Star Wars universe and also participate in autograph signings.

The night will conclude with a deck party that is out of this universe, featuring your favorite Star Wars characters and your favorite Star Wars music.  And what would a Star Wars deck party be without fireworks?  The evening concludes with a fireworks show to your favorite Star Wars music synced to pyrotechnics, lighting, sound effects and lasers.

The cruises will take place aboard the Disney Fantasy on January 9, 23; February 6, 20; March 5, 19; April 2 and 16, 2016.
