New job postings give new possible clues to Dollywood’s 2016 coaster

New name of Dollywood attraction revealed in new trademark?

Dollywood is well underway with their 2016 attraction with massive land clearing going on near the Rockin’ Roadway attraction.

There have been several rumors suggesting that the coaster could be a launched Rocky Mountain Construction coaster, a first of its kind.  Even the name SHOT ROD has been trademarked by Herschend, the company that runs Dollywood.

Some new jobs have been posted online via Simply Hired (seen above) that show Rocky Mountain Construction looking for 2 full-time survey positions.  One of them with immediate placement in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which is of course, home to Dollywood.  Correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t know of any other theme parks in Pigeon Forge that could house a RMC coaster.

This could be the biggest clue yet as to what Dollywood has up their sleeves for 2016.  We will have to wait and see for sure, but it looks like Dollywood is getting something quite exciting for 2016.

As for the other two jobs in Kentucky and California, the Kentucky job could be for Kentucky Kingdom’s Twisted Twins which is suppose to be opening in 2016.  I am not too sure what the California job could be for.  Maybe Roar at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom?  Just a guess.

We will keep you posted.
