Disneyland to offer Premium Dining Experience during Mickey’s Halloween Party called Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou
A new dining experience is coming to Disneyland’s Mickey’s Halloween Party featuring Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog this year called the Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou.
Dinner will be served at the Blue Bayou restaurant and will feature appetizers such as Beguiling Bayou Crab Cake with crisp creole slaw and tart Remoulade Sauce, or a warm, melted goat cheese Bon Coeur Tart coupled with fresh baby spinach, golden beets and savory prosciutto, with a drizzle of dried cherry vinaigrette.
The main course will feature Braised Bayou Short Ribs, with Danish blue-cheese whipped potatoes and baby carrots, served with huckleberry-pinot noir sauce; Bourbon-Glazed Chicken Breast over a bed of smoked-white cheddar polenta, with crisp asparagus spears and a savory thyme jus; or Red Fish, sautéed to flaky perfection with crispy rock shrimp, seasoned Louisiana long rice, haricot vert and étouffée sauce.
For dessert? Try the dark chocolate crème brûlée with salted caramel macaroon, or an almond praline cheesecake with petit honey beignets.
After the dining experience, guests will be given a limited-edition custom lithograph featuring art from Disney Animator Eric Goldberg before heading out for a VIP viewing experience of “Halloween Screams” fireworks.
Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou will begin September 25 and will be only available to those guests that have already purchased a Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket.
