Disneyland Paris to debut new “Mickey and the Magician” show in 2016

Disneyland Paris announced their 2016 details today, which include a new show, the return of Frozen and more!

Beginning February 10, 2016, a brand new show created in the spirit of Broadway musicals, will be launched at Disneyland Park. The Forest of Enchantment: A musical adventure Disney invite visitors over tables to pay tribute to nature and the world of the forest.


The show will feature such characters as John Smith, Baloo and King Louie, Tarzan, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider and Mérida.

Frozen will return in 2016 with “Sing the Snow Queen,” which will resume from June 4 to September 18.

Spring time will be celebrated at Disneyland Paris with the “Swing into Spring” event.  Guests can enjoy Goofy’s Garden Party among other spring time themed events.

And also new for 2016 is a new show called “Mickey and the Magician.” Here is a synopsis of the storyline of this new production:

“While a great magician Mickey entrusted the task of maintaining his studio magic, his dream of becoming himself a great magician takes over! Imagine a new adventure where the “magic” will operate, an adventure putting in turn directed the Genie of Aladdin, Cinderella and her Godmother Fairy, the heroes of Beauty and the Beast or Rafiki (The Lion King).”

2016 will also be the Weekend Half Marathon at Disneyland Paris.  This event is scheduled from Sept. 23 to 25, 2016, for all ages.  The events over three days, will offer several courses for children, a 5 km family run and a half marathon, but also plenty of entertainment for the whole family including an exhibition “Health and Fitness”, a Friday night private party in the Walt Disney Studios and a large “Rice Party” the day before the half marathon.


Star Tours will be closing in early 2016 at Disneyland Paris in order for the ride to receive new updates, which will make their debut in 2017.  Young girls and boys aged 7 to 12 years , eager to confront the dark side of the Force will be able to register for Jedi Training Academy.
