Knott’s Berry Farm announced today that their prized wooden roller coaster, GhostRider will be reopening on June June 11 at the park.

The coaster closed back in January and has had an extensive refurbishment which included replacing sections of track, in return smoothing out parts of the ride and making it a little faster.  The coaster will also be receiving new trains, which can be seen in the above photo.

The renovation of the coaster is part of Knott’s 75th anniversary celebration at the park, which kicks off Memorial Day weekend.

GhostRider originally opened at the park back in 1998.
