Hong Kong Disneyland announces new multi-year expansion plan


Hong Kong Disneyland just some major changes coming to its park over the next several years.


From 2018-2023, Hong Kong Disneyland will see a variety of additions and changes, the first which is almost ready to open.  Hong Kong’s first Marvel attraction, Iron Man Experience, is scheduled to open on January 11.  The area will feature two rides, one of them being a reimagined Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and the other a completely new attraction.


Hong Kong Disneyland will also be receiving a “Frozen” themed land at its park.  According to Disney, guests will “enjoy new attractions and be immersed in the kingdom of Arendelle with uniquely themed dining, shopping, and entertainment.”

The centerpiece of Hong Kong Disneyland, Sleeping Beauty Castle, will also be getting a major facelift as well. A  Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will also be added to the area as well.  A concept image can be seen at the top of the article.


And last but not least, a new area dedicated to the new film “Moana” will be coming to Adventureland.  Here, guests will be able to see an all-new stage show featuring Moana and will be able to meet Moana herself.
