Knott’s Berry Farm announces new additions and enhancements for 2017

Knott’s Berry Farm announces a new thrill ride, extended Boysenberry Festival, the return of Ghost Town Alive! next summer, and the expansion of Knott’s Soak City Waterpark.

The name of the new thrill ride coming to Knott’s in 2017 is called Sol Spin.  Riders are sent six-stories high as they rotate in all directions on one of six spinning arms. Sol Spin will be the newest addition to the theme park’s world-class line up of more than 40 rides and attractions when it opens in spring 2017.

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival will also be extended in 2017 to a total of 23 days.

Knott’s also announced that Ghost Town Alive! is coming back as well in 2017.  The citizens of Calico return to take guests on an immersive journey back in time to the old west of the late 1800s when bandits and cowboys battle for control of the west. This summer the wild- west gets a little wilder, as new story lines and plot twists will be revealed throughout the season insuring guests will never experience the same adventure twice.

The Boarkwalk area of the park will also be getting a new restaurant for 2017 called Boardwalk Barbecue.

And last but not least, Knott’s mention the Soak City expansion which was announced earlier this year, including two new water slide towers.
