Kraken Unleashed VR experience set to open Summer 2017 at SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld has announced that Kraken will be renamed Kraken Unleashed

and will have a brand new VR experience set to open in Summer 2017.

Kraken will close near the end of May and will reopen on June 16, 2017

as Kraken Unleashed Virtual Reality Experience.

The VR headsets will be tethered to the coaster and you will have the choice

of whether or not you want to use the headset. The storyline will tie in to

the Journey to Atlantis ride and the main entrance will be reimagined.

In the new story the  guest will go on a deep sea mission.

Kraken Unleashed will open June 16, 2017.
