2017 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival To Be A Record 75 Days and 35 Marketplaces

The 22nd annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival opens Aug. 31 and runs through Nov. 13. That is 75 days (the longest yet and 13 more than last year) to eat and drink your way around the park.

And to celebrate the park’s 35th anniversary there will be a record number of Marketplaces. 35 of them stretching around World Showcase and into Future World.

There will be many new dishes this year at some of the Festival Marketplaces. A new crispy chicken with griddled cornbread and red-eye gravy will be at the Farm Fresh Marketplace. A spicy Korma Chicken with cucumber-tomato salad, almonds, cashews, and warm naan bread and a pistachio cardamom cake with a dollop of chocolate coconut mousse at the India Marketplace. And the charcuterie in a cone will debut at the Spain Marketplace.

And there will be many of the usual festival events like appearances by celebrity chefs, hands-on culinary workshops and demonstrations at the Festival Center, Party for the Senses and the nightly Eat to the Beat concerts.
