Disney to discontinue Netflix support and launch streaming service of their own

**UPDATE** Accoring to The Verge, Disney won’t be pulling their movies off of Netflix, at least, not anytime soon, rather they will simply discontinue putting new content on Netflix.

Disney announced today during its earnings report that it plans on removing all of their movies from Netflix and starting a streaming service of their own.

The company also announced that it plans on launching a streaming service for ESPN.

Specific details were not announced as to what Disney shows/films will stay and which will go, but it appears this will be strictly Disney and Pixar films for now. Disney owned Marvel shows, such as Daredevil could be staying. This also applies to Star Wars content, which could also be staying on Netflix as well. We will have to wait and see what happens.
