Disney World reveals NBA Experience concept artwork

With the demolition of Disney Quest well underway at Disney Springs, many have been wondering when Disney will be talking more about its replacement, NBA Experience, after it was initially delayed due to design issues.

Disney World released a first-look today at the new venue which will open at Disney Springs in 2019. And according to the Disney Parks Blog, the venues architecture is inspired by new NBA arenas around the country.

“We are inspired by the design of the new building and the energy that it will bring to the West Side of Disney Springs,” said Senior Vice President of Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Maribeth Bisienere.

The new venue will feature interactive games and competitions, immersive experiences, a retail store and an adjacent restaurant.

NBA Experience is scheduled to open in the Summer of 2019.
