Disney world to start charging nightly fee for parking at on-site resorts

If you’re planning on staying on-site at any of the Walt Disney World resorts and parking your car overnight there, you’re soon going to have to start paying for that overnight parking.

New details were released today showing that Disney World will begin charging guests on or after March 21. The new nightly parking fees are broken down by which type of resort you’re staying at, such as value, moderate, or deluxe.

Here are the new nightly parking rates for the different tiers:

  • Value – $13 per night
  • Moderate – $19 per night
  • Deluxe – $24 per night

If you’re a DVC Member, there will not be a standard parking fee.

There will also be complimentary parking available for the following:

  • Guests with disabilities
  • Cast Members who are staying at an on-site resort
  • Group or Convention parking
  • Staying at a campsite at Fort Wilderness
  • Visitors who are not staying overnight, such as guests who want to shop, dine, etc.

If you fancy valet, that is available at Deluxe resorts for $33 a night (tip not included).

Complete official parking details can be found here.
