The time has finally come. Disneyland announced that A Bugs Land will be closing for good on September 4 at Disney’s California Adventure, which for those of you keeping track, is one day after Pixar Fest ends.

What will happen with some of the attractions inside A Bugs Land? The only one we know for sure that is being repurposed is Flik’s Flyers, which is being relocated to Pixar Pier and being re-themed to an Inside/Out attraction called Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. The It’s a Bug’s Life theater show closed its doors for good in early 2017.

The recently announced Marvel expansion for Disneyland Resort is what’s most likely taking the place of A Bugs Land, due to its prime real estate right next to Guardians of the Galaxy: MISSION BREAKOUT at the park.
