Tidal Twister coming to SeaWorld San Diego in 2019

SeaWorld San Diego will be getting a new roller coaster for 2019 called “Tidal Twister.” The new ride is described as a “first of its kind” and “riders will twist and bank as if they are riding the tide along a tight figure-8 track that includes dynamic Zero-G roll at the center section.

There will be a total of two trains that hold 16 passengers each that load at opposite ends of each other and will “duel” each other while traveling on the figure-8 style track. The ride will feature a height requirement of 48 inches and will be built by Skyline Attractions out of Orlando, Florida.
