New cupcakes and snacks for February at Walt Disney World

One of my favorite things about any Disney Park is the creativity that comes out of the culinary imaginations in the resort’s many kitchens. Disney just announced all of the delectable desserts that will be available at Walt Disney World for the month of February!

Cupcakes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Over at the Animal Kingdom, there are two new cupcakes. The first is the purple lotus flower cupcake that is a yellow vanilla cupcake filled with strawberry mousse and topped with a blooming purple buttercream lotus flower. It looks to be Pandora themed, however, it can only be found at Creature Comforts or Restaurantosaurus. This cupcake would make a perfect Instagram picture if paired with any Potion Purple merchandise!

The other cupcake is the Simba cupcake. It’s a yellow vanilla cupcake filled with white chocolate mousse and topped with buttercream, an edible portrait of Simba, who has an orange and yellow icing mane. This dessert is available at Isle of Java and Pizzafari.

Once Upon a Cupcake at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

With the anniversary of Sleeping Beauty coming up, there’s a beautiful pink or blue cupcake that is vanilla cake and cotton candy buttercream. This can be found at the Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. I can’t wait to try it out and see what color it turns my tongue!

Ariel Cupcake at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Similar to the cupcake released at the Magic Kingdom a few months ago, this mermaid tail cupcake is decorated with all the colors inspired by Ariel. It is a vanilla cupcake filled with pineapple compote and topped with coconut buttercream, crispy pearls, graham cracker crumbs, edible glitter, and a white chocolate mermaid tail. This is available at the hotel’s food court, Landscape of Flavors.

Frozen treats at Epcot

There is a Sven’s apple cheesecake at the newly reopened Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. There are not too many details on this dessert, but I’m tempted to give it a try!

Artist’s Cupcake at Epcot

Available only during Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts, Sunshine Seasons will over a new cupcake, which is a multicolored vanilla cake splattered with edible colors and topped with peanut butter buttercream and a miniature paintbrush.

Mickey’s Premium Bar cake at Disney Springs

And if you thought you were getting out of this cake free, Disney ropes you back in! Celebrating Mickey Mouse, Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is offering a dome cake in the style of the Mickey Premium Bar.
