In an unsurprising move, Disneyland cast members have received an increase in blockout days for their Main Entrance Passes and Self-Admission privileges. The extended period of time that cast members will be prevented from using complimentary admission into Disneyland extends from May 16th through at least the end of August.

Notably, “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” is set for a May 31st opening and is expected to attract record crowds to the small Anaheim resort over the summer and beyond. This move is one of many Disneyland management has taken to ensure that overcrowding is limited inside “Galaxy’s Edge”. Cast members, with valid complimentary admission, will still be admitted to Disney California Adventure on select days throughout the summer.
